The ceremony was attended by 100 of the couple's closest family and friends, as a stunning Ciara rocking a custom Roberto Cavalli dress was attended by six bridesmaids including celebrity friends, La La AnthonyKelly Rowland and Serena Williams.



The singer, 30, and the Seattle Seahawk's quarterback had their pre-wedding dinner in England on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.
Ciara took to her Instagram page to share a first photo from the ceremony with the caption, "We are The Wilsons!"
The couple got engaged on March 11, 2016, while on a vacation to a private honeymoon beach on North Island.

Chinese woman sets factory on fire


The Lagos State Police Command, on Wednesday said it arrested a Chinese woman, one Zhen Zhen for allegedly setting ablaze a hotel in Lagos.




The command’s spokesperson, SP Dolapo Badmos confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Badmos said that, on Tuesday July 5, at about 8 p.m., the suspect lodged with her boyfriend, one Jian Feng, at Ernest hotel, located at 28, Bamishile Street, off Allen, Ikeja, Lagos.
``The suspect allegedly set ablaze some parts of Ernest hotel while using hard substance in her room.’’
Badmos said property valued at about N24 million were reported to have been destroyed in the fire

Veteran actress is dead --- Bukky Ajayi


Popular Nigerian actress Bukky Ajayi, 82, passed away today, Wednesday July 6, 2016.

Veteran Nigerian actress Bukky Ajayi, 82, is dead.
According to sources she died over an hour ago today (July 6, 2016) but the cause of her death has not yet been revealed to the public. Another reliable source close to the veteran actress also confirmed her death.



Bukky Ajayi was a widely respected actress in Nollywood. On June 15, 2016, a group of Nollywood actors paid a visit to the veteran actress at her home.
The actors were Joke Silva, Uzor Osimkpa, Chika Chukwu, Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw, Nichole Banna, Seun Ajayi andZara Udofia Ejoh.

Joke Silva shared a photo with the caption:
"TAA (The Actors Advocate) with the gorgeous uassuming supertalented mama Buky Ajayi. We went down memory lane...we laughed..we cried we prayed. Well done Mildred Okwo for bringing all the generations together...it's the only way we can grow#TAA."

Did Niyi Johnson try to poison actress toyin Aimakhu?

Aimahku refused to comment when reporters asked her to give her opinion concerning the news involving an alleged attempt to poison her.



Recent news reports have opened old sores regarding Toyin Aimahku and her husband Niyi Johnson. It was alleged that the latter tried to poison her during their marriage


According to Punch, some Instagram followers of Johnson, on Thursday, June 30, 2016, accused him of trying to poison Aimahku.
The actress also made a comment regarding the issue moments after the accusation, writing “Silence is no longer golden”, Punch reported.
She however declined to comment more on the matter when she was approached by reporters. The actress bluntly told them she is not interested in discussing her break-up.

 The rapper has made quite a personality when it     comes to revealing her body, as she recently did  in the mirror selfie, in which she wore a pink silky robe.



Female American rapper, Nicki Minaj, has left it bare for all to see after posting a picture revealing sensitive part of her body online.




Minaj, on Friday, July 1, 2016, shared the sexy picture on her Instagram, showing off part of breast while putting on a pink silky robe, in a mirror selfie. 
This is not the first time the rapper has opened part of her body.Minaj was seen recently with her boyfriend, Meek Mill, wearing a black lacy gown that showed her body assets.
The ‘Starships’ rapper has shown no hesitation in showcasing her body to the world. This has become an identity of some sort for her.

As far as her music is concerned, she is also quite the sensation.
At the just concluded 2016 BET Awards, Minaj won the recognition for the ‘Best Female Hip-Hop Artist Award’.
This is her sixth year on the role since she won the prestigious honour.






Governor lauds PZ over donation, calls for more corporate supports


Gov. Rauf Aregbesola of Osun on Friday commended the management of PZ Cussons for donating a block of three classrooms to boost learning in Iwoye-Ijesha area of the state.
Aregbesola gave the commendation during the inauguration and handling over of the 90-student capacity building at Saint Thomas' Elementary and Middle School,Iwoye-Ijesha.
The block has three classrooms with seats for 30 students in each class.
The governor said the gesture reflected the philanthropic nature of the company and a confirmation of its social responsibility drive to the people at the grassroots.
The governor noted that the project wastailored towards his aggressive infrastructural development in the education sector.
Aregbesola, however, enjoined parents to be passionate about the welfare of their wards and prepare them for the future.
In her remarks, Mrs Titi Laoye-Tomori, the deputy governor, commended PZ for the donation.
Laoye-Tomori said the classrooms would provide conducive environment for learning and teaching, and urged other corporate organisations to emulate the good gesture.

Also, Mr Tunde Oyelola, the Vice- Chairman, PZ Cussons, said the philosophy behind the gesture was a conscious plan and strategicway of giving back to the society.
Oyelola, said the intervention has covered 26 states of the federation within the six geopolitical zones as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR).

Also speaking, a member of the board of trustee of the foundation, Mrs Yomi Ifaturoti, said the rationale behind the project was predicated on the “philosophy of doing good business".
Ifaturoti, who doubled as the Corporate Affairs Manager of PZ, said “what we mean by doing good business is that we are corporately responsible by giving back to our host communities.
"Our focus is to initiate projects with humane impact in the areas of education, healthcare delivery, potable water and road rehabilitation.
“However, it is noteworthy to mention that education got the lion share of funding due to expected high clamour for access to education".
Ifaturoti added that the foundation has executed 58 projects across the six geopolitical zones of the country.
The Headmistress of the school, Mrs Omolara Adeyolanu, said the project would provide conducive learning environment for the pupils.

The head of Iwoye-Ijesha community, Mr Abiodun Gabriel, said the project was very significant and timely to his people.
